Located on the Pennine Business Park Complex in Huddersfield, this development features a three-storey new build manufacturing facility, three-storey office building and ancillary block for the world’s leading manufacturer of PTFE flexible hose to bring all of their process manufacturing under one roof.

The Work
A F Connell Ltd undertook the design, installation, testing and commissioning of all the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services on this 118,000 sq. ft development. We were fully integrated into the design team to provide a functional facility for Aflex Hose Ltd to boost their production capabilities by 70% and employ 280 staff when operational.
The services installed include ventilation, heating, cooling, domestic hot and cold water systems, refrigeration, compressed air, full electrical distribution systems including metering and associated switchgear, all lighting and controls, power, TV systems, security, CCTV, door entry, data systems, fire alarm etc.
