A F Connell Ltd undertook the design, installation, test and commission of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to this 6-storey office building in the heart of Central Manchester. The building comprises of a basement car park, gym facilities and ground floor future retail units, along with 6 floors of hi-tech office space.

The Work
The work comprises of 2No new HV transformer supplies by ENW to the ground floor, incoming water and gas supplies and distribution of the services through the building. LED lighting with a full Osram DALI control system, VRF heating and cooling and plumbing/sanitary-ware included to the entire building. The building is equipped with a Security Management System (SMS) compromising of state-of-the-art CCTV, access control, intercom and intruder systems all monitored via the central SMS system. A fire alarm V2 voice alarm system is also installed. The building has a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and a Wired Score Platinum certification.
